Now most libraries in Italy use a digital library card 🥲 usually linked to your local library network or region 📚
But when I was a child in the '90s it was different! We had a little paper card that we always had to bring with us. And every time we borrowed a book the librarian would write it down by hand and stamp the due date <3 I still miss that little ritual. It made every library visit feel so special 💕
i love your striped mug and penny loafers! i have been on the fence about a kindle for a while but it’s so cute and portable. right now i read my libby books on the kindle app on my ipad. might need to upgrade!
2 lib cards is perfect!!! I LUV IT! and yes, I find with three, a book is always coming through which is fun and overwhelming (libby loves to release them all at the same time I’m like WAIT)

I also got a Kindle recently and am obsessed with it! I only have one library card but I've read way more books since getting the Kindle. Yay for a summer of reading in bed and by the pool and everywhere in between! Hope you have a lovely August!

Ahh that’s how it is here! I’ve lived in several places so have been able to get multiple cards !
And I also grew up in the 90s, I remember having my card and having to write in the check out paper in the book!! Such a long time ago!
